The Tavern At Lark Creek is one of the most honored restaurants in America, and also one of the Bay Area’s favorite places for private parties and special celebrations. Our private party guests come to us for the overall quality of the experience encompassing food, wine, service and setting. From business-related events to weddings, receptions, personal gatherings and holiday parties, ours is the ideal site for special events.THE GARDEN VIEW ROOM
Located upstairs, this room overlooks the front garden. Its maximum capacity is 24 seated guests, with space for cocktails before the meal, or 35 for a standing reception. But it is intimate enough for smaller groups as well. The Garden View Room is perfect for small wedding celebrations, rehearsal dinners, birthdays (surprise parties are a natural), anniversary celebrations, as well as business luncheons and dinners.
THE SUNROOM AND CREEKSIDE PATIO
Our most popular dining room – the Sunroom – is made available for semi-private and private use during the winter and spring seasons. Although the Sunroom can seat 48 guests, most events call for a standing reception prior to the meal, with maximum seating of 40. For a standing hors d’oeuvre and cocktail reception, we can accommodate up to 60 people.
During the summer and fall seasons, the Creekside Patio is the place to be. We can seat groups up to 40 semiprivately. The entire Patio may be reserved for events expecting up to 60 seated guests, or smaller groups desiring more privacy. If you are planning a cocktail party for 100 guests, the outdoor setting is perfect.
THE RESTAURANT BUYOUT
This is a very special opportunity for weddings and receptions, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, milestone birthdays and anniversaries, food and wine luncheons and large business events. For a sit down meal, we have a seating capacity of 150 people using our Main Dining Room and Sunroom, or up to 200 using the Patio as well. (If space is needed for music, dancing, or a buffet, the seating capacity decreases.) For a cocktail and hors d’oeuvre reception, we can accommodate up to 300 guests during the summer.
THE REDWOOD GROVE
Semi-private, outdoors. Available June-September. Seats up to 64, or accommodates up to 100 standing. Unamplified music (can affect seating capacity) or house music.
COMBINED VENUES
Combine various rooms and spaces to create a unique celebration with distinct phases. Start with a standing cocktail reception in the Grove then a ceremony in the Patio, followed by a seated dinner in the Main Dining Room, and dancing in the Sunroom.
